These terms are an agreement between you and Zoopy ("we", "us") for your use of the Zoopy phone app, the Zoopy web app and this website, in whatever country you use them. By creating an account or using the app you accept them.
1. What Zoopy is
Zoopy watches listings that online marketplaces show in public and alerts you to the ones that match searches ("hunts") you create, with filters, distances and rough value estimates. Today it watches Facebook Marketplace, AutoTrader Australia, Kijiji, AutoTrader.ca, AutoScout24, Kleinanzeigen, Quoka and Gumtree UK. Which marketplaces a hunt can use depends on the hunt's country and on your plan, and we may add or remove a marketplace at any time.
Zoopy is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any marketplace it watches, including Meta Platforms, Inc. Each marketplace's name and marks belong to its owner; "Facebook" and "Marketplace" are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc.
2. Your account
You must be at least 16 years old, or older if the law where you live asks for it. You sign in with your phone number, Apple or Google. Keep your sign-in safe: you are responsible for what happens on your account. One account per person. Don't share or resell it, and don't reach the service with scripts or other automated tools.
3. Plans, billing and refunds
- Running hunts needs a paid plan. Plans differ in how many hunts you can run, how often they are checked and which marketplaces they can watch. To keep alerts fast we may limit how many paying members we take; when it is full, new members wait on a list.
- You pay through your Apple App Store or Google Play account. The store shows the price in your own currency, with any tax your country adds, before you confirm. If we offer payment on the web, the price and currency are shown there before you pay.
- Monthly plans start with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the plan starts and you are charged.
- Plans renew by themselves at the end of each billing period until you cancel. Cancel at any time in your store account settings, at least 24 hours before the period ends. Deleting the app or your Zoopy account does not cancel a plan.
- Prices may change for later billing periods. The store tells you before a new price applies.
- Apple or Google handle refunds under their own rules. Nothing in these terms takes away a right the consumer law of your country gives you and that cannot be signed away, for example a right to withdraw, to a refund or to a repair of a faulty service.
- If you invite a friend, you get 30 free days once your friend has paid for 30 days after any trial. We may change or end invites, but a reward you have already earned stays yours.
4. No promises about listings
Listings come from other companies' marketplaces, which we do not control. They can change, slow down or block what is public at any time. We work to be fast and accurate, but we cannot promise that Zoopy finds every listing, that an alert arrives within any set time, that a filter catches every dealer, damaged or written-off item, or that a value estimate is right. Estimates use asking prices, are rough, and are not professional or financial advice. Zoopy is not a party to any sale. Always check the item and the seller yourself before you pay.
5. Zip and other AI features
Zip, the in-app assistant, and the AI hunt builder use an AI model from another company. The app asks for your permission first (see the privacy policy). AI answers can be wrong or out of date. Treat them as a starting point and do not rely on them for money, legal or safety decisions.
6. Fair use
Don't misuse Zoopy. That includes trying to copy its data in bulk, taking it apart, overloading it or reselling it, using it to harass or defraud anyone, and using it for anything against the law. When you contact a seller you do it yourself, on that marketplace, under that marketplace's own rules. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Where the law requires it, we refund the unused part of a period you paid for.
7. Liability
As far as the law allows, Zoopy is provided "as is", and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for a deal you missed, or for a purchase you made, because of an alert, a filter or an estimate. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law of your country, or removes consumer rights that cannot be removed (for example under the Australian Consumer Law, or the consumer laws of the European Union, the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States).
8. Ending
You can stop using Zoopy and delete your account at any time (see delete your account). We may stop offering Zoopy, or a part of it. If we close the service while you have a paid period running, we refund the unused part where the law requires it.
9. Changes to the service or these terms
We may update the app, the plans or these terms. We tell you in the app about a change to the terms that matters, before it applies. If you keep using Zoopy after that, you accept the new terms. If you do not agree, you can cancel and delete your account.
10. Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. If you use Zoopy as a consumer, you also keep the protection of the laws of the country where you live that cannot be signed away, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country.
